Use of the Travelmate online booking service and website by you ("the Customer") is subject to the following terms and conditions:
All bookings cancelled within 7 days of check-in are non-refundable.
All cancellations and amendments will incur an administration fee of $20. If a cancellation is made within one month of the arrival date, the accommodation supplier may charge an additional fee depending upon their own cancellation policy.
We strongly recommend that you take out appropriate travel insurance.
Bookings made to Travelmate by the Customer are made on behalf of the accommodation provider ("Property"). Customer agrees that Property has sole responsibility for delivery of the services being booked by the Customer and that Travelmate is not liable for default by the Property.
Customer agrees to pay to Travelmate by debit to Customer's credit card account the specified booking fee and cost of the accommodation. All fees are GST inclusive. Travelmate will issue Customer with a valid Tax Invoice in respect of this booking service.
Customer acknowledges that payment for the cost of accommodation will be held by Travelmate on behalf of the Property and remitted to Property on terms agreed between Travelmate and Property. Travelmate receives a commission from the Property for providing this booking service
Customer acknowledges that a third party ("Card Authoriser") will process the credit card transactions required in respect of a booking. Customer agrees that Travelmate is not liable for default by the Card Authoriser.
Information on website is based on information supplied by each Property. Whilst Travelmate endeavours to ensure all information presented is accurate, it makes no guarantee that the information is free from errors or faults, and accepts no liability for any errors or omissions.
Travelmate does not pay commissions to travel agents using this booking service.
Travelmate makes no warranty or representation about the suitability of any product or service being advertised on its website.
Travelmate reserves the right to change information published on its website at any time. Prices are subject to change or withdrawal without notice at any time. All accommodation rates are based on a maximum of two guests per room unless otherwise specified.
Travelmate needs to collect personal information about you to process your booking for accommodation. If Travelmate cannot collect this information, it will be unable to make a booking in your name. Travelmate respects your privacy and will only use or disclose your information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988.
The information gathered here will not be used for any other purpose other than to allow you to use the Travelmate.com.au web site and accommodation booking service. Once you have authorised us to make a booking on your behalf, we will provide your information to the accommodation provider so they can process your booking.
We do not sell or rent customers' personal information. Please read our Privacy Policy.
These terms and conditions do not affect the Customers' statutory rights
